TL;DR: Driven by an ego fragile enough to shatter under a light breeze and a total susceptibility to foreign flattery, “Mad King Donny” has dragged the United States into another catastrophic Middle East war. Bibi Netanyahu, who has addressed Congress more times than any foreign leader in American history, specifically to make this exact pitch, finally got the American-funded conflict he’s lusted after for thirty years, and while sycophants spin it on cable news, working Americans are paying at the pump, in the grocery aisle, and with the lives of our service members.

Good morning, everyone. Welcome back to another edition of taking inventory while our nation’s foreign policy is run like a late-night infomercial.

Every American president since “W” dragged us into Iraq on manufactured intelligence has managed to avoid getting bogged down in a full-blown, regional war in the Middle East. It took a unique blend of staggering arrogance and childlike gullibility to break that streak, but “Jabba the Pizza Hut” managed to pull it off.

Because when your entire worldview is dictated by whoever stroked your ego most recently, you aren’t leading a superpower—you’re being piloted.

Thirty Years of Lobbying Finally Paid Off

Good morning. Let’s talk about how a thirty-year sales pitch finally found its buyer.

Enter Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. For three decades, Netanyahu has treated the U.S. Capitol like his personal piggy bank and military dispatch center, lobbying for American tax dollars, American bombs, and American blood to fight his regional takeover.

As far back as 1992, as a member of Israel’s Knesset, he was already predicting Iran was three to five years from a nuclear bomb — a specific timeline that, three decades and several recycled predictions later, still somehow hasn’t arrived on schedule. In 2002, he showed up before Congress to make the case for invading Iraq instead, guaranteeing lawmakers that toppling Saddam would produce “enormous positive reverberations” across the region and insisting there was “no question whatsoever” Iraq was racing toward nuclear weapons. We all remember how that turned out: no weapons of mass destruction, a war that cost trillions of dollars and untold lives, and a regional collapse we’re still living with today. Getting the forecast catastrophically wrong once apparently just meant it was time to update the pitch deck and try again with a new country.

By 2015, Netanyahu had become the first foreign leader in American history to address a joint session of Congress four separate times — an honor previously held only by Winston Churchill, and Churchill at least had the excuse of an actual world war already underway. That 2015 speech, delivered without so much as a courtesy call to the sitting president, was aimed squarely at torpedoing Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran. It didn’t work, not immediately — but persistence is apparently its own strategy, because Trump tore up that same deal a few years later anyway. And through it all, Netanyahu kept refining the same warning, decade after decade, regardless of which American administration was in the room: Iran is always months away, always weeks away, the bomb always just over the horizon. It’s the geopolitical equivalent of a contractor who’s told you the job will be done in two weeks for the last thirty years.

Previous administrations—whatever their flaws—at least maintained enough basic self-preservation to resist getting completely ensnared in a direct war with Iran. But Netanyahu knew all he needed was an easily manipulated draft dodger in the Oval Office. A little excessive flattery, a few public compliments, and voilà: our comb-over commander walked us right off the geopolitical cliff. Now he can’t figure out how to get us out of the very disaster he triggered.

A Chorus of Sycophants

It would almost be cute watching the MAGA sycophants and cable news pundits perform mental gymnastics to justify this grand military misadventure—if the consequences weren’t so horrific.

They promised us a quick, decisive flex of authority. Instead, every single working family in this country is paying the price of his malignant narcissism every time they scan their cards at the grocery register, fill up their gas tank, or open their monthly energy bill.

The invisible tax is heavier: eighteen families who got a phone call they’ll never recover from, and over 600 more dealing with wounds, physical and otherwise, that don’t show up on a receipt at the pump.

  • 18 U.S. service members killed in action.

  • More than 600 soldiers wounded, bearing the physical and psychological scars of an avoidable catastrophe.

While the administration quietly tries to shuffle the casualty math and pretend everything is according to plan, real families are receiving life-altering news because Fat GPT was tricked into playing wartime emperor.

The single rule of thumb in this administration remains unbroken: if you flatter him enough, stroke his fragile ego, or write a big enough check, he will gladly burn down a country for you.
